Recycle tes vêtements

I will wear more second hand clothes. Ways to do this include shopping in a thrift store and organizing a clothing swap party. When I am finished with an article of clothing, instead of just throwing it away, I will give it to a charity shop or give it to a friend. Always buying new clothing can really take quite an environmental toll. Just consider: where the textile is grown, where is it processed into clothe, where it is made into an article of clothing, and where you buy it are often all different countries! For example, In the case of a single cotton men's polo shirt, it all adds up to a long distance traveled (over 14,000 miles), a lot of carbon dioxide emissions (27 pounds per shirt), 10 ounces of waste produced (roughly the same weight of the shirt itself), and 33 kilowatt hours of energy expended.
