Model U.N Class Medias education program

"An Africa without a sustainable, strong knowledge sector of its own will always remain in a dangerously dependent position." Since 1997 of participation in planning for A better World for All, Council of Africa Youth Organisations Union was proclaimed (CAYOU: http://projects.tigweb.org/cayou). The 25th of June 2009, I just closed my 1st long-term commitment and jumped into 2nd one which is very challenging step. It is my pleasure to inform you that CAYOU Consortium was launched in association with A Better Community For All (ABC4All), www.abc4all.net , a grassroots organisation worldwide alliance in development for over 11 years. Our 718 Mentors in over 104 countries sung and read the poem “ABADATANA-INSEPARABLE BUDDIES”, during celebration of CAYOU.I was also approved to be reporter to UN Youth Flash programs. Since there, I became more inspired to search for A Better World Burundi, so that I started a Network for Education World Services Team & Vision group: A better World for All (NEWS.TV). Today, NEWS.TV group has today opened its 2009 Fellowship Programme, Teaching Model United Nations Class: Campus University for Peace and Development (CUPD). It encourages all journalists, students and professors in Universities schools to enrol. The NEWS.TV Media Education Programme promotes research into, and an understanding of, the role and the effects of the media upon society. It seeks new ways in which people can enhance their participation and skills in the sustainable development and cultural life of the global community through the media.Model U.N Class Medias education program: Campus University for Peace and Development-CUPD is a Network for Education World Services Team & Vision: a better world for all (NEWS.TV)-CUPD”. It stands for new form of academic life, new career option; and quality education for all, within the overall goal of poverty reduction and in conformity with established CUPD training Youth Assembly and the established Medias forum. The Media Education Programme “CUPD” seeks to establish new ways by which all members of society, but especially young people, can actively participate in the service learning and cultural life of the general community through the media.NEWS.TV Medias Education Program’s work in this field is highlighted by two consultations: • An international seminar, Educating for Media and the Digital Age, held in Vienna, Austria (1999) • A seminar of media education experts held in Seville, Spain, (2002), which formulated broad recommendations and the priorities for regional action by UNESCO
