Dispose of electronics safelyOld electronics such as computers, cell phones and printers, do not belong in the garbage with regular day-to-day trash. The materials used to make this equipment do not decay and break down like organic materials. Before throwing away an old computer, I will consider upgrading instead. I will also take measures to donate old equipment it to a local organization, charity or school that could put it to better use. If the equipment cannot be used, I will ensure it is recycled properly. |
