Go Hug a Tree

Take the time to go out, find a friendly green giant, and give it a long hug! Trees do so much for us, from providing paper, lumber and fuel, to cleaning our air, water and soil. We too often walk right by these wooden wonders, forgetting they are living homes to many species, and working hard to stabilize our climate. So get up close and personal, and hug a living tree.

I enjoy hugging Birch Trees. Not only are they free of all that sticky sap that pines have, but if you hug them tight enough, you can feel them swaying in the breeze! (more)
