When you aren’t actively using your computer it is still draining power, and even during ‘sleep’ mode a computer still uses energy. Whenever possible take a second to turn off your computer and monitor, it is a small way to save on energy and consequently reduce the pollution that is inevitably produced during various methods of energy production.
